During the winter months, we must be especially mindful to get plenty of vegetables and fruits. It’s great to start off your day with a refreshing drink that’s full of vitamins and minerals! My favorites include beet, apple, carrot and celery with a hint of fresh ginger or kale, cucumber, lemon, celery and apple. Choose any combinations that sound good to you and experiment with your juicer or make smoothies in your blender. Add chia seeds, protein powder or dried egg whites. Your body will thank you!!
